In this episode, Krysta and Traci discuss Ephesians Chapter 3. They begin with a recap of what was revealed to them about unity in Messiah and the secret plan. In Chapter 3, the theme of unity continues as they explore the ideas of being “joint heirs” with the Jewish people in what God has promised.
Key Points:
- The Hebrew letter of the day is the “hey,” (ה), with a numeric value of five. This numeric value is significant because it represents the 5 books of the Torah. The word light shows up 5 times in the first day of creation in Genesis, and the hey (ה) represents divine breath, revelation, and light (See https://hebrewforchristians.org/Grammar/Unit_One/Aleph-Bet/Hey/hey.html).
- Sha’ul (Paul), a knowledgeable Jewish scholar, was called to preach the Good News to the Gentiles.
- The mystery that Paul had revealed was that Gentile believers in the Messiah may now be a part of God’s chosen people.
- There is a difference between knowing about God’s love and understanding His love for us in our hearts and our minds.
- The Lord wants us to succeed in the plans he has made for us, and He does not want us to be bound up in shame or guilt.

- Ephesians 3: 15 – 19 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
